From Training to Traction: A Big Morning in Beverly Hills
In this episode of Sidra Unplugged, I sit down with John O’Brien, a Los Angeles–based rep with McKesson and a member of Jack Liddell's sales team. John is a product of McKesson’s Field Sales Development Program and has been in his territory since October 2024—but you wouldn’t know he’s new by the results he’s already producing!
During a morning working together in Beverly Hills—one of the highest-rent submarkets in the country—John booked five appointments and put us in front of five decision-makers before lunch. The targets he identified were strong, realistic, and well-qualified. If just three or four of those opportunities transact, the cost savings could be over a $1 million dollars for his customers and the potential SPIFF opportunity could range from $30,000 to $50,000.
This conversation is a great example of what happens when strong sales fundamentals, smart targeting, and the right strategy come together—especially in competitive, high-barrier markets like Beverly Hills.
