In this episode of Sidra Unplugged, I sit down with Tom Peters, one of the top leaders at McKesson—and honestly, one of the best in the business.
Tom’s career speaks for itself.
His start was actually in commercial real estate, where he quickly made a name for himself and earned a 4-Under-40 award in Chicago. He then joined McKesson in 2019, built his territory through COVID, and capped it off with Rep of the Year.
From there, it didn’t slow down.
He stepped into an Area Sales Manager role in Atlanta, led a team of 13 reps, and won ASM of the Year in back-to-back years. Now, he’s leading the Mid-South as Regional Vice President—overseeing teams across multiple states.
So yeah…he wins. A lot!
But what really stands out about Tom isn’t just the awards—it’s how he leads. He pushes his teams to think bigger, look beyond the usual levers, and find real ways to create value for their customers. That’s exactly the kind of leadership that makes a difference—and why partnerships like ours actually work.
